Tanner Thetford
CEO
Coronado High and Texas Tech alum with roots planted firmly in Lubbock. Founded Mission in Spring 2016 and has built it from one truck into six divisions serving West Texas. A Christ follower whose faith drives everything — the company, the culture, and the mission behind the name. Married to Magen since 2013, dad to Myles, Truman, and Maggie. Red-headed and left-handed — which has to mean something.
Tyler Tomme
VP Revenue
Tyler is originally from Ft. Worth and has two children. He brings seven years of valuable experience to the Mission team, showcasing expertise in customer service, leadership, sales, and supervising/leading teams in the field. His family are active members of Church on the Rock. He finds joy in outdoor pursuits, with fishing, golf, and baseball topping his list of hobbies, and he especially enjoys coaching youth baseball. He values quality time with friends and family, embodying the Mission ethos of fostering both professional and personal connections.
Marie Hooks
VP Operations
Two years at Mission leading day-to-day operations. Born in Pennsylvania, she has been married to Kyle Hooks for 21 years and is the proud parent of two children. Her son Hunter is a retail manager, and her daughter Gwyn is a Geology major at Texas Tech University. She loves reading, her dogs, and spending time with her family.
Justin Bush
Estimating / Quality Director
Born in California and raised all over the country as an Air Force stepkid, in Lubbock the past 15 years. Two years at Mission, owning the estimating and quality standards that keep projects dialed in from first walk-through to final walk-out. Married 10 years, dad to a 6-year-old Lubbock-native daughter — met his wife (a Sanderson, TX native) at Texas Tech. Self-described nerd who loves taking things apart and keeping up with new tech. Hikes, fishes, and tends a big garden with the family. Races RC cars on the side.
Taci Knobloch
Marketing Director
Since 2025, Taci has been serving Mission as our Marketing Director. Taci Knobloch is a Texas girl originally from Wichita Falls, a proud Coronado High School grad, and a natural host who believes life is better shared — she and husband Shawn are raising four kids: Charles, Ashton, Jackson, and Jett. When she’s not cheering her kids on from the sidelines, you’ll find her at Turning Point Community Church, traveling with her family, or channeling her creativity into her next project. Her dream? Building a family vacation home in Hawaii with Shawn someday — a place where the door is always open.
Weston Tomme
Sales Director
From DFW, moved to Lubbock at 11 and been here ever since. Four years at Mission leading sales across all six divisions. Married to Ana, dad to Damian (4) and Luka (1). Golfs and plays basketball in his spare time — has a 186-yard hole in one to his name — and recently picked up coaching 7-year-olds in baseball.
Braden Danner
Landscape Director
From Littlefield, TX. Four years at Mission running the Landscape & Maintenance division — Mission’s largest, covering residential and commercial work across Lubbock, plus Christmas Lighting each fall. Dog dad to Daisy, a golden retriever / German shepherd mix. Off the clock — golfing, fishing, watching football and basketball, or just relaxing at home.
Nathan Farrar
Energy / Safety Director
Two years at Mission leading the Energy Specialties division — vegetation management, chemical applications, and erosion control for oil & gas operators across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Married to Audrey for three years and together for nine. Biggest hobby is gaming with his wife — they even stream together. People tell him he looks like Chris Stapleton.
Luke Long
Pool Director
Two years at Mission leading the Pool division. From Pampa, TX — moved to Lubbock for Texas Tech and never really left. Musician who plays piano, guitar, and sings. Good at pretty much any sport except basketball. Dad to Evan (24), Emma (23), and Elly (20). His girlfriend Kayla has two kids of her own — Jordan (27) and Bryce (20). Spends his spare time with family, playing music and sports, and leading worship at Mission Bible Study. He attends Church on the Rock, where he’s been since 2001.
Janette Hale
Finance Admin
Six years at Mission processing billing, payments, and payroll. Married to Paul for almost 16 years with a blended family of six grown children and six grandchildren. Grew up swimming and water skiing. Off the clock — walking, baking, and attending First Baptist Church of Ruidoso.
